چکیده
Terranigra kosovica Radoman, 1978, was known from four localities in Kosovo. The monotypic genus described on the basis of genital morphology. We collected T. at a new locality, about 40 km its type locality. shell morphology, as well soft part morphology and anatomy were identical to that by Radoman. molecular markers mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI) nuclear histone (H3) resolved phylogenetic position sister clade Agrafia Szarowska et Falniowski, 2011.

Phylogenetic relationships of the Cochliopinae (Rissooidea: Hydrobiidae): an enigmatic group of aquatic gastropods.
Phylogenetic analysis based on a partial sequence of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene was performed for 26 representatives of the aquatic gastropod subfamily Cochliopinae, 6 additional members of the family Hydrobiidae, and outgroup species of the families Rissoidae and Pomatiopsidae. Maximum-parsimony analysis yielded a single shortest tree which resolved two monophyletic ...
متن کاملMyrtoessa hyas, a new valvatiform genus and a new species of the Hydrobiidae (Caenogastropoda, Truncatelloidea) from Greece
A new to science valvatiform hydrobiid, Myrtoessa hyas Radea, gen. n. & sp. n., from southern Greece, is described and illustrated. The new genus is a tiny gastropod thriving in a stream and is differentiated from the other known European and circum-Mediterranean valvatiform hydrobiid genera by a unique combination of the male and female genitalia features i.e. penis long, flat, blunt, with wid...
متن کاملPhylogenetic Relationships among Corals
Reef-building corals are the framework builders for coral reefs and a key player in the coral reef ecosystem. They are the animals that form the foundation of Virgin Islands coral reefs which provide protection from the open ocean, are an economic resource in terms of tourism and fisheries, are the source of chemical compounds of biomedical importance, and provide great natural beauty. Due to b...
متن کاملPhylogenetic relationships of cyphelloid homobasidiomycetes.
The homobasidiomycetes includes the mushroom-forming fungi. Members of the homobasidiomycetes produce the largest, most complex fruiting bodies in the fungi, such as gilled mushrooms ("agarics"), boletes, polypores, and puffballs. The homobasidiomycetes also includes species that produce minute, cup- or tube-shaped "cyphelloid" fruiting bodies, that rarely exceed 1-2 mm diameter. The goal of th...
متن کاملEpidemiology and Phylogenetic Relationships of Dengue Viruses
The mosquito-borne flaviviruses revealed two distinct epidemiological groups. The neurotropic viruses correlated with the Culex vectors, and the viruses associated with haemorrhagic diseases correlated with the Aedes vectors. About the last ones, it is hypothesized that the dengue viruses have evolved from sylvatic strains that are transmitted among non-human primates in West Africa and Malaysi...
